MetLife Stadium’s 2025 Lineup Breaks Concert Records
New Jersey music fans have plenty to celebrate as MetLife Stadium announces an unprecedented 2025 concert season featuring multiple nights from some of the biggest names in music. The East Rutherford venue, home to both the New York Giants and Jets, will transform into the region’s premier concert destination with a lineup that includes historic reunions and record-breaking runs.
The 82,000-seat stadium will host over 25 major concert dates in 2025, marking what industry insiders are calling one of the most ambitious live music schedules for any North American venue. With multiple artists booking two or more consecutive nights, the economic impact on the region is expected to be substantial.

Historic Reunions and Returns
Perhaps the most anticipated shows of the year will feature the long-awaited reunion of British rock legends Oasis. Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher will end their 15-year feud for a comeback tour that includes two nights at MetLife on August 31 and September 1, 2025, according to Vue NJ. Special guests Cage The Elephant will join the “Wonderwall” hitmakers for what promises to be one of the most significant rock reunions in recent memory.
Another major return to the stage comes from New Jersey’s own My Chemical Romance, who will perform their seminal album “The Black Parade” in its entirety on August 9. The band, which formed in Newark, chose their home state for one of just ten North American performances in what the group describes as a “monumental event” rather than a full-fledged reunion tour.
System Of A Down and Korn will bring their influential brand of hard rock to MetLife for a two-night stand on August 27-28, with special guests Polyphia and Wisp. This pairing represents another chance for fans to witness two genre-defining acts that rarely tour together.
Record-Breaking Residencies
Beyoncé will make MetLife history with an unprecedented five-night residency supporting her Grammy-winning album “Cowboy Carter.” The cultural icon will perform May 22-29, 2025, marking the longest consecutive run of shows by a solo artist in the stadium’s history since its 2010 opening.
Not far behind, The Weeknd will bring his “After Hours Til Dawn Tour” to the venue for three nights on June 5-7, with Playboi Carti and special guest Mike Dean. Country star Zach Bryan will also perform a trio of shows on July 18-20 with special guests Kings of Leon and The Front Bottoms.

New Jersey Connections
The Garden State’s own SZA will join forces with rap superstar Kendrick Lamar for two nights at MetLife on May 8-9 as part of their “Grand National Tour.” SZA (born Solana Imani Rowe) was raised in Maplewood and graduated from Columbia High School before becoming one of R&B’s most celebrated voices.
According to NJ 101.5, tickets for the SZA and Kendrick Lamar shows go on sale to the general public this Friday at 1 p.m. EST, following a presale on Wednesday. The tour supports Lamar’s sixth studio album “GNX,” which features SZA on two tracks and recently debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
International Superstars
Colombian pop sensation Shakira will bring her “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour” to MetLife on May 15, 2025. This marks her first world tour in six years and celebrates her newest album of the same name (which translates to “Women No Longer Cry”). Fans can expect performances of her latest songs alongside her catalog of global hits.
Rock legends Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks will share the stage for their only tri-state area appearance on August 8, 2025. This collaboration between two of music’s most influential artists represents a rare opportunity to see both performers in a single night.
Economic Impact
“The 2025 concert season will be transformative for the region,” said an East Rutherford tourism official. “With multiple consecutive-night stands, we’re expecting visitors from across the country and internationally, filling hotels, restaurants, and other businesses throughout Bergen County and beyond.”
Industry analysts estimate that a single sold-out stadium concert can generate between $7-10 million in economic activity for the surrounding area. With over 25 shows scheduled, the total economic impact could exceed $200 million.
Ticketing Information
Fans should note that most shows will feature multiple presale opportunities before general public on-sales. The Beyoncé, Shakira, and Oasis shows are expected to sell out quickly, with potential additional dates to be added based on demand.
MetLife Stadium officials recommend creating accounts with Ticketmaster and artist fan clubs in advance to access presale opportunities. The venue also notes that transportation and parking plans are being enhanced to accommodate the unprecedented concert schedule.
